1. Avalanche Women's Fleece Leggings, High Waist Full Length Fleece Lined Hiking Legging with Zipper Pockets, Fleece Yoga Pants

Girl, if you're planning on moving to the mountains, or even if you're going to visit your sisters-cousins-best friends-uncles-baby mamas-pig- and its cold. GO BUY THESE! they are so warm, fluffy, soft and when its -9 here in Big sky, and I'm walking to work at 6 am, these are needed. I bought one for each day, and I do layer them with a soft thin legging I got from Walmart - you know the $6 pair that's on the hanger?.. anyway. You're going to love these.  The price isn't that bad, but I did buy them at T.J. MAXX for under $20 So, go look there first.

2. Chooka Women's Warm Insulated Plush Lined Waterproof Mid-Calf Winter Snow Boots

Okay, so snow boots are a necessity for living in the mountains, but I don't think people take into consideration of the amount of ICE that is EVERYWHERE! Y'all,  I only thought about the snow - but then again, I'm from Texas, I ain't ever seen snow and ice didn't even cross my mind. The rubber and tread on the bottom of the boot is very thick and durable on being about to maneuver on snow and ice  back and forth to and from work, plus I walk about 14 miles a day, so comfy boots are a must have, and ladies, these are them! Also, they are so warm, and worth every pretty little penny.

3. Carhartt Beanie Knit Cuffed Cow Print White Black

if you're anything like me, cow print is a must in life, but of course a Texas girl. Cow print is a color down in the south. This super soft cute little beanie is a must have for winter in the mountains. My style is leggings (number one on the top), I love avalanche leggings, boots, long sleeve shirts and a cute hoodie, top it off with this cute beanie and it's so cute together. Check out Pinterest for all the cute outfits you can pair with it.

4. Marc Asher Men Zip Up Hoodies Sherpa Lined Jacket Heavyweight Fleece Sweatshirt Winter Warm Hooded Coat

Oh, for the love of Madona, I LOVE this jacket! It has two zippers, one is a base layer, which is like a stretchy thermal layer, don't worry though, it just a faux layer, so it still keeps you warm, but not overpowering. then you have the actual jacket part, which is a thick layer, and it's easy to zip up.

HUGE downfall: the pockets don't have zippers. However, I'm still OBSESSED with this jacket.

5. Tamarack WATERPROOF Insulated Winter Boots

Okay, these give me lumberjack vibes, but these have to be the warmest boots, has double insulation, and is completely waterproof. I walk through thick snow, and very slippery ice, and they are tremendous for those ice and snowy days. They have great traction too! I walk to and from work every day up and down the mountain, so these are one of my go-to boots.
